What is structured cabling? Simply put, structured cabling is a complete system of cables and necessary hardware, which create a comprehensive infrastructure for telecommunications operations. This infrastructure can do anything from transmitting data for a computer network to providing telephone service.
Every structured cabling setup is completely unique due to several factors. These include the architectural structure of the building, the connection and cabling products used to set up the network, and the function of the new cabling installation.
